SilverScript Employer PDP for MHBP
If you have Medicare A and/or B as your primary coverage and have not opted into the Medicare Advantage Plan for MHBP Standard Option, you’ll automatically be enrolled in our SilverScript® Employer Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) under Medicare Part D for MHBP.*
Your medical coverage and your Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program premium will not change.** You are still covered under MHBP through the FEHB Program if you continue to pay your MHBP premium. Enrolling in the PDP will not result in the suspension or termination of your FEHB coverage.
*If you are currently enrolled in a stand-alone Medicare prescription drug plan or a Medicare Advantage (MA) HMO or PPO plan (Part C), enrolling in SIlverScript will cancel your enrollment in the other plan.
** The Social Security Administration (SSA) could require you to pay an extra amount. This is known as the Medicare Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA). SSA will contact you if you have to pay Part D IRMAA, based on your income.

Aetna Medicare is a PPO plan with a Medicare contract. Our DSNPs also have contracts with State Medicaid programs. Enrollment in our plans depends on contract renewal. Standalone Prescription Drug Plans are offered by SilverScript, a CVS Health company. The formulary, provider and/or pharmacy network may change at any time. You will receive notice when necessary. See Evidence of Coverage for a complete description of plan benefits, exclusions, limitations and conditions of coverage. Plan features and availability may vary by service area. Participating physicians, hospitals and other health care providers are independent contractors and are neither agents nor employees of SilverScript. The availability of any particular provider cannot be guaranteed, and provider network composition is subject to change.
Estimated costs are not available in all markets or for all products and services. We provide an estimate for the amount you would owe for a particular product or service based on your benefit plan and status at that very point in time. It is not a guarantee. Actual costs may differ from an estimate for various reasons, including claims processing times for other products and services, providers joining or leaving the network, changes in product availability, or changes to your benefit plan.
